Statement

Fossils, relics, and objects that show the markings that only time and natural forces such as wind and rain and water, heat, and pressure can draw out. My work resides where physical meets spiritual, where inside meets outside, where light passes to dark and to light again. At the edge. It is ever-present sharpening then falling away, and as inarticulate as the tideline. The consistent motion of earth and sea, tumbling, roiling; defines, delineates, and qualifies what is here and what is somewhere invisible and bound in its nature to perpetuate. It is this place that lets us into another realm where what one imagines becomes physical.

Bio

I was born in 1957 in Fresno California. I couldn't wait to leave, which was when I was 2 years old. I've lived and traveled in many places since. I have always been a maker of things and I can't see that changing until the day I die; it's an addiction. Addictions carry into the next life.
