Statement

My art is an expression of that which is felt beyond the surface of all of life's elements. Inspiration comes from my relationship and connection with all that is around me. When making art, whether it be music, painting, or photography, my intent is to convey the essence of beauty, magic and mystery, and a different perspective on everyday life.

Bio

I'm originally from New England and received a BFA in Illustration from Parsons School of Design and Philadelphia College of Art. I've exhibited my multimedia art in galleries throughout the country. Before becoming a Massage Therapist and Energy worker, I worked as a Jeweler for over 15 years, fabricating and designing pieces from precious and semi-precious metals and stones. I created my own line of hand-painted costume jewelry based out of NYC, distributed nationally in the late 80s, and was seen in popular fashion magazine publications, to include Glamour Magazine. I'm also an award-winning Santa Fe-based singer-songwriter and multi-instrumentalist, and have performed at venues around the world. These include The Bitter End, The Lensic Theater, the Outpost Performance Space, The Green Note, and the Sundance Film Festival. Music and art continued to call to my spirit as I relocated to Santa Fe in 1999, and I have since released five CDs, including the award-winning album entitled Brave Bird. My paintings, photographs, and fine art cards are available at Body of Santa Fe and Gifted Hands Gallery in Madrid, NM.
