My work is grounded in the beauty of geometric principles and the elegance of mathematical patterns. Sacred geometry, as seen in nature, frequently appears in my compositions, offering a visual language of balance and interconnectedness. Influenced by the formalism of Op Art, I create abstract paintings that explore rhythm, order, and perception. Textured squares — my signature — anchor each piece, encouraging viewers to engage closely and uncover intricate layers over time. Like nature itself, the experience of understanding my work is personal and evolves with observation. Raised in La Paz, Bolivia, and now based in New Mexico, I draw inspiration from both Indigenous Andean aesthetics and the striking visual traditions of the American Southwest. Through my art, I seek to bridge mathematical structure with cultural storytelling, creating work that resonates across pattern, place, and identity.

Surrounded by high mountains and rich Indigenous cultures, I was born and raised in La Paz, Bolivia. The vibrant colors and geometric patterns of Andean textiles — along with the unique landscapes of the American Southwest — have deeply inspired my artwork for many years. My curiosity for culture, language, and design led me to pursue a Master’s degree in Architecture at the University of New Mexico. Today, I collaborate with various institutions, offering workshops and teaching opportunities that blend artistic practice with cultural exploration. Since 2007, my work has been exhibited internationally in juried shows and open exhibitions. With a passion for fashion, I’ve found joy in creating wearable art that brings the strokes of my brush — and the energy of my oils — closer to the everyday lives of others. I am a permanent member of Amapola Gallery and The Groove Art Space in Albuquerque, New Mexico. For over a decade, I’ve donated artworks to support educational programs and health institutions, using art as a way to give back and connect with the community.
